about

The title track is inspired by and dedicated to the American composer Harry Partch. It showcases atonal melodies and microtonal melodies on non conventional and home made instruments. The term "Hexendanz" is the Pennsylvania dutch word for CROP CIRCLE. It literally translates as "witch dance" which is what the early farmers called the phenomenon. The album celebrates songs, spells, and rituals . Nate Marks had witnessed a hairy hominoid type creature that was sort of sasquatchian in a slothlike kind of way and also a large and moving orb. This album pays tribute to that and to all things paranormal and musical. Recorded at Limbus Studios in 2006 -2007. The album was officially released on Fauschnat Day 2007.
