this is the 4th album in the nate marks catalogue. it is more in the tradition of the OBJECTS IN HI-FI album than the other two. it is mostly a compilation of live sound pieces and experimental improv. the title track SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE is a fun song-type song in which cosmic philosophies are presented in a spiritual opera format. "SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE"sound clip is sampled from the wierd al 80's film U.H.F. for those who are fans of the folky stuff the track SLOTH N ORB is a pretty kind of haunting guitar and singing ballad inspired by paranormal phenomenon. the theme of sloth and orb is also in the HEXENDANZ album. nate feels it important to promote the awareness of sloth n orb activity because he saw a giant humanoid slothlike and ALSO a large and moving orb when he was a yungerboovah. DADDYS CREDIT CARD is a crowd pleaser recorded live at the 7th st midnite gallery in ALLENTOWN. it was part of a temporary art show to prove that allentown isnt all that crappy and GUESS WHAT.... A-towns very own mayor Palowski was there !
